Godly Mothers
- Motherhood can be seen as an expression of certain traits of God.
- Women are uniquely designed and gifted to perform as they do.
Five Godly attributes of Motherhood
- Nurturing love
- "Storge" is translated as love. It refers to instinctual,
automatic love.
- A new mother loves her child simple because it is her child.
- It's the love that always desires to care for and provide for her children.
- Willing sacrifice
- Many women have given their lives for the sake of their children.
- Continuing Virtue
- Proverbs 31:10-30
- This is a reminder to keep the most important things in life in their
proper place.
Concluding Thought
For a godly mother:
- Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise
at the city gate. - Proverbs 31:31
