Everyone Needs A Little TLC

Something new is brewing at Highlands! Very soon all of the Family here at Highlands will be enjoying the benefits of our newest great opportunity for social interaction, spiritual development and service opportunities.
Beginning in the next few weeks will be our brand new TLC TEAMS. (TLC stands for Tender Loving Care) TLC Teams are designed with the whole family in mind. There will be four TLC Teams and each member of Highlands along with their families will be assigned to one of the Teams. Each TLC Team will have two Team Leaders and two Women's Activity Coordinators. I will be serving as the TLC Team Coordinator and together we have a plan in mind that I'm sure will enhance our already great fellowship and encourage even more spiritual growth.

In the very near future we are planning a TLC Team Kickoff Bash where we'll have a great meal together and find out more about the TLC Teams and how they operate. TLC Teams should provide a tremendous lift to our congregation, incorporate the whole church and make it easier to engulf our new members in the love that exists at Highlands.
Jesus said that true disciples: Live in the word (John 8:31), Labor in the vineyard (John 15:5-8) and Love each other (John 13:34-35). TLC Teams will provide a great mechanism to help each of us fulfill these worthy areas of Kingdom Life while we enjoy great fun and fellowship. I can't wait to get started!
